Lombardi Associates Telephonic Case Managers (TCM) act as liaisons, communicating telephonically and through written correspondence, between the injured individual, medical providers, insurance carrier and/or the employer.
The TCM coordinates with medical and other providers, gathering medical evidence, to ensure appropriate treatment and return to work. Additionally, telephonic case managers increase the use of “in-network” providers and enhance cost savings.
Labor Market Surveys - For a comprehensive analysis of the actual jobs available a Labor Market Survey is used. This service involves Transferrable Skills Analysis of the injured workers background to determine career alternatives they are able to pursue. Employer contacts are made to confirm employment outlook and a comprehensive report is prepared, outlining the results.
On-site Client Vocational Assessment - Meet client, employer, and physician to include full medical review, physical capability assessment, transferable skills analysis and Labor Market Survey (if applicable), all outlining the injured workers potential for return to work.
Job Analysis Preparation - Job analysis is the formal process of identifying the content / demands of a job in terms activities involved and attributes needed to perform the work and identifies major job requirements.
One Time or As-Needed appointment coverage - To attend appointments including physician, OT, PT, IME, or home visit to assess information followed by an update to the adjuster or Telephonic Case Manager with recommendation.
